About the Role

Our client seeks a visionary Principal Data Scientist with a specialization in Machine Learning to lead impactful research initiatives within their fully remote organization. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and deployment of advanced machine learning models for predictive analytics, pattern recognition, and optimization.
• Define research questions, design experiments, and rigorously validate model performance.
• Collaborate with software engineering and product teams to integrate ML solutions into scalable applications.
• Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to best practices in data science and MLOps.
• Stay abreast of the latest research in machine learning and artificial intelligence, identifying opportunities for novel applications.

Requirements

• Ph.D. or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field with a focus on Machine Learning.
• 10+ years of experience in data science, with a significant focus on developing and deploying ML models in production environments.
• Deep expertise in various ML algorithms (e.g., deep learning, reinforcement learning, NLP) and proficiency in Python/R and ML libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
• Experience with large-scale data processing frameworks (e.g., Spark) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
