Overview
The UK&I energy sector is experiencing a transformative period with increasing demand, stringent regulations, and ambitious net‑zero targets. This role offers a chance to contribute to the UK's energy transition as Principal Designer and CDM Advisor at Stantec.
Responsibilities
As Principal Designer and CDM Advisor, responsibilities under CDM 2015 include:
- Acting as CDM Advisor to support clients.
- Maintaining a deep understanding of design and construction processes.
- Communicating effectively and ensuring compliance with CDM and other relevant legislation.
About You
- Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in construction, health and safety, or engineering. Chartered status and additional health and safety qualifications such as NEBOSH preferred.
- Experience: Proven experience in a consultancy environment with the ability to coach and mentor junior team members and collaborate across the business.
- Skills: Strong understanding of innovative solutions and industry best practices, with experience managing projects from concept to completion and in-depth knowledge of CDM Regulations 2015.
