About the Role

This senior role will involve leading the electrical design strategy for large-scale renewable energy projects, including solar, wind, and energy storage solutions. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the electrical design and engineering for major renewable energy projects, focusing on grid connection, protection, and power quality.
• Develop and validate complex electrical system designs, including single-line diagrams, equipment specifications, and earthing studies.
• Oversee technical aspects of project execution, ensuring compliance with stringent industry standards and safety regulations.
• Provide expert technical consultancy and mentorship to engineering teams, fostering best practices.
• Collaborate effectively with project managers, clients, and external stakeholders in a fully remote environment.
• Evaluate new technologies and methodologies to enhance the performance and reliability of renewable energy systems.

Requirements

• Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in power systems or renewables.
• 10+ years of extensive experience in electrical engineering, with a significant focus on renewable energy projects.
• Expert knowledge of AC/DC power systems, grid codes, protection schemes, and energy storage technologies.
• Proficiency in advanced power system analysis and simulation software (e.g., PSS/E, DIgSILENT PowerFactory).
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities and experience managing complex engineering tasks remotely.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills suitable for a remote setting.
