About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly experienced and influential Principal Electrical Engineer to join their prestigious team in Oxford . Key Responsibilities
- Lead the technical design and development of complex electrical systems and solutions from concept to completion.
- Provide expert technical guidance and mentorship to a team of electrical engineers, fostering professional growth and best practices.
- Define and implement electrical engineering strategies and roadmaps, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- Oversee the resolution of complex technical issues and make critical design decisions.
- Conduct advanced analysis, simulations, and reviews to ensure the highest standards of quality, safety, and performance.
- Engage with key stakeholders, including clients and management, to present technical solutions and project progress.
Requirements
- Master's or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a related advanced technical discipline.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in electrical engineering, with significant experience in a leadership or principal role.
- Deep expertise in multiple areas of electrical engineering, such as power systems, control systems, electronics design, or embedded systems.
- Proven track record of leading successful, complex engineering projects from inception to deployment.
- Strong understanding of system architecture, design methodologies, and relevant industry standards.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
