About the Role

Our client is looking for an accomplished Principal Electrical Engineer to join their distinguished technical team in Reading . Key Responsibilities

• Lead the architectural design and development of complex electrical systems, setting technical direction and standards.
• Provide expert technical guidance and mentorship to electrical engineering teams, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
• Oversee the full lifecycle of electrical engineering projects, from conceptualization and feasibility studies to final implementation and validation.
• Conduct advanced analysis, simulations, and modeling to optimize system performance, reliability, and safety.

Requirements

• Ph.D. or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related advanced technical discipline.
• 15+ years of progressive experience in electrical engineering, with a significant portion in design leadership and architecture roles.
• Demonstrated expertise in areas such as power electronics, control systems, signal processing, and integrated circuits.
• Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering complex, large-scale electrical engineering projects.
• Exceptional strategic thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience with system-level design tools and simulation platforms.
