Job Description
We are seeking to appoint a Principal Engineer to meet the growing demand for our temporary and permanent works design services to support civil engineering construction projects throughout the UK.
Who are we?
PASCOE is a successful multi-disciplinary consultancy based in Preston with over 16 years' experience in both temporary works and permanent works design. Predominantly working directly with contractors, we have established a reputation for engineering excellence across the spectrum of engineering disciplines. We work on both large and small projects including high profile schemes including Thameslink, Crossrail, HS2, Birmingham Gateway, and the recent A34 Improvement Scheme linked to the Commonwealth Games.

Civil or Structural Engineering degree.
Ability to problem solve from first principles.
Understanding of construction methodology.
Ability to understand and actively apply risk management techniques.
Ability to work well and proactively within a small team of professional engineers.
The role requires someone who can take responsibility for their own work, with a proven track record of successful delivery of design projects from conception through to detailed design and completion of construction.
Chartered status or working towards Chartership
Experience of Network Rail procedures
Experience of DMRB standards and procedures
Temporary works design experience
