About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly accomplished Principal Industrial Engineer to spearhead process improvement and strategic operational development in Coventry . Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of large-scale industrial engineering projects, focusing on efficiency, cost reduction, and quality enhancement.
• Develop and refine strategic operational frameworks, integrating advanced methodologies like Industry 4.0 principles.
• Conduct in-depth feasibility studies and provide expert recommendations on process automation and technology adoption.
• Oversee the standardization of engineering practices and documentation across the organization.
• Act as a technical mentor and coach to a team of industrial and process engineers, fostering skill development.
• Present findings, strategies, and project outcomes to senior management and executive leadership in Coventry .

Requirements

• Master's degree or PhD in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, or a related advanced field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in industrial engineering leadership and complex project management.
• Demonstrated expertise in advanced analytics, simulation, supply chain optimization, and lean six sigma (Master Black Belt preferred).
• Proven track record of successfully implementing significant operational improvements in a manufacturing or heavy industry setting.
• Exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and communication abilities.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and manufacturing execution systems (MES).
