About the Role

Our client, a leading strategy and transformation consultancy, is seeking a highly experienced and visionary Principal Management Consultant to join their team, remotely supporting clients primarily in the Southampton, Hampshire region and beyond. This senior role is responsible for leading the most complex client engagements, setting strategic direction, and driving significant business outcomes. You will serve as a trusted advisor to C-suite executives, identifying critical challenges and opportunities, and architecting innovative solutions that deliver lasting value. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and direct major consulting projects, defining engagement scope, strategy, and execution plans.
• Develop cutting-edge solutions for complex client challenges in areas such as digital transformation, operational excellence, and market entry strategy.
• Act as a key point of contact and trusted advisor to C-suite level clients, building and nurturing long-term relationships.
• Drive business development activities, including proposal writing and client relationship management, to expand the firm's footprint.
• Mentor and develop consulting teams, fostering a culture of high performance, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Contribute to the firm's intellectual capital through thought leadership and the development of new methodologies.

Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in management consulting, with a strong emphasis on strategic advisory and leadership.
• Demonstrated success in leading large-scale, transformative client projects and achieving significant business impact.
• Deep expertise in one or more specialized areas such as digital strategy, supply chain optimization, or organizational change.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking capabilities.
• Outstanding executive presence, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Relevant advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) strongly preferred.
