About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced and visionary Principal Mechanical Engineer to join their fully remote, world-class engineering team. Key Responsibilities

• Provide senior technical leadership and strategic guidance on all mechanical engineering aspects of projects.
• Lead the conceptualization and design of highly complex mechanical systems, components, and mechanisms, pushing the boundaries of innovation.
• Perform and oversee advanced FEA, CFD, and thermal analysis to ensure robust, reliable, and efficient designs under extreme conditions.
• Mentor and guide a team of mechanical engineers, fostering technical growth and ensuring adherence to best practices and quality standards.
• Collaborate closely with R&D, product management, and external partners to define future product roadmaps and technical requirements.
• Author and review critical technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and reports.

Requirements

• Master's or PhD in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in mechanical design and engineering, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects.
• Deep expertise in advanced mechanical analysis techniques , including stress, thermal, and fluid dynamics.
• Proficiency with high-end CAD and CAE software suites (e.g., 3DEXPERIENCE, COMSOL).
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically.
• Strong leadership qualities and excellent communication skills for effective remote collaboration.
