Principal Planning & Highways Lawyer (Hybrid)

Kirklees Council is seeking a Permanent Principal Lawyer in the Planning and Highways team based in Huddersfield. The role leads on s106/s278 matters, offers planning and highways advice, and supports public inquiries and enforcement.

The position requires a qualified solicitor (practising certificate), barrister, or Fellow of CILEX with substantial senior planning/ Highways experience. Hybrid/flexible working is available; closes 30 September 2026.
