About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and specification of high-voltage power systems, substations, and transmission networks.
• Perform advanced power flow , short-circuit, and stability analyses using specialized software.
• Develop protection schemes and coordination studies for complex electrical grids.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to power systems engineering teams.
• Engage with clients, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders to ensure project success and compliance.
• Conduct root cause analyses for power system disturbances and recommend corrective actions.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in power systems engineering , with a focus on transmission and distribution.
• Expertise in power system analysis software (e.g., PSS/E, ETAP, PSCAD).
• Deep understanding of power system dynamics, stability, protection, and control.
• Chartered Engineer status or equivalent professional registration is highly desirable.
• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Power Systems.
• Proven ability to lead complex technical projects and manage engineering teams.
