About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly accomplished and strategic Principal Recruitment Consultant to lead their education sector recruitment efforts. This role will operate on a fully remote basis, serving clients within the higher education and K-12 sectors. You will be responsible for managing key client relationships, driving business development, and ensuring the successful placement of academic and administrative staff. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in education recruitment and a proven ability to operate autonomously, contributing to a reputation for excellence in a flexible, remote-first organisational structure.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow relationships with key clients in the education sector, including universities and schools.
- Lead the full recruitment process for academic and senior administrative roles.
- Develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies to attract qualified education professionals.
- Conduct thorough candidate assessments, evaluating both academic qualifications and institutional fit.
- Drive business development initiatives to expand the client base and service offerings.
- Mentor and guide junior members of the remote recruitment team on best practices.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in recruitment , with a significant specialization in the education sector (higher education or K-12).
- Demonstrated success in managing senior-level recruitment assignments and building client partnerships.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and client management skills.
- Strong understanding of the challenges and opportunities within the education recruitment market.
- Proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment best practices.
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage a remote workload.
