The Role

As a Principal Safety Case Consultant, you'll provide expert leadership across the full project lifecycle, ensuring the successful delivery of complex safety case activities while driving technical quality and regulatory compliance. Your responsibilities will include: Providing nuclear safety expertise throughout design, development and project delivery Leading and facilitating HAZID and HAZOP studies while developing robust Hazard Management Strategies Managing the production of radiological safety assessments, PSRs, PCSRs and other key nuclear safety documentation Defining and leading safety case strategy, ensuring compliance with UK nuclear regulatory requirements Providing technical oversight of supporting calculations, assessments and engineering reports Leading safety case delivery teams and coordinating work undertaken by specialist suppliers where required Managing project delivery against xwwtmva programme, budget and quality objectives Coaching and mentoring Safety Case Consultants to build capability across the wider team Collaborating with engineering, design and specialist disciplines to deliver integrated safety solutionsAbout You You'll bring: Extensive experience delivering nuclear safety cases across complex engineering projects Strong knowledge of multidisciplinary engineering and its integration into safety case development Understanding of specialist safety disciplines such as: Criticality assessment Shielding and dose assessment Environmental assessment Human...
