Key Responsibilities

• Define and drive the scientific strategy for drug discovery programs, identifying novel therapeutic targets and modalities.
• Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of scientists, fostering a culture of scientific rigor and innovation.
• Oversee the design and execution of key research projects, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
• Develop and implement advanced screening and assay development strategies for target validation and lead identification.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Pharmacology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related life science discipline.
• Extensive experience (10+ years) in drug discovery within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
• Proven track record of successfully leading drug discovery programs and delivering clinical candidates.
• Deep understanding of medicinal chemistry, DMPK, and toxicology principles.
• Expertise in various assay development and high-throughput screening technologies.
