Principal Scientist - Drug Discovery

You will lead key research projects, contribute scientific expertise, and drive the strategic direction of discovery programs. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage research projects focused on the discovery and validation of new drug targets.
• Design and execute complex biochemical and cellular assays to assess compound efficacy and mechanism of action.
• Interpret experimental data, draw sound conclusions, and present findings to project teams and senior management.
• Contribute to the strategic planning and prioritization of drug discovery programs.
• Mentor junior scientists and foster a culture of scientific excellence and collaboration.

Requirements

• PhD in Pharmacology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry with a focus on drug discovery .
• Demonstrated expertise in a relevant therapeutic area and a strong understanding of early-stage drug development.
• Proven ability to design and manage complex research projects independently.
• Excellent track record of scientific publications and/or patent filings.
