Key Responsibilities

• Lead and design studies to assess the pharmacokinetic and metabolic profiles of drug candidates.
• Interpret complex DMPK data to inform compound selection and development strategies.
• Develop and validate bioanalytical methods for the quantification of drugs and metabolites in biological matrices.
• Collaborate closely with chemists, biologists, and toxicologists to integrate DMPK data into project teams.
• Contribute to the preparation of regulatory documents (e.g., IND filings) related to DMPK.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and scientific advancements in the DMPK field.

Requirements

• PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant industry experience in Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics (DMPK) .
• Extensive experience in designing, executing, and interpreting in vitro and in vivo DMPK studies.
• Proficiency with bioanalytical techniques (e.g., LC-MS/MS) and relevant software.
• Strong understanding of drug discovery and development processes.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and strategic thinking skills for effective work in a fully remote setting, supporting global teams relevant to the Oxford research community context.
