Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and execution of complex research projects focused on gene editing, CRISPR technology, and related fields.
- Develop and optimize novel genetic engineering strategies for therapeutic applications.
- Mentor and manage a team of scientists and research associates, fostering their scientific growth and productivity.
- Analyze and interpret experimental data, ensuring rigor and reproducibility, and communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.
- Contribute to intellectual property generation, patent filings, and scientific publications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including discovery, translational research, and clinical development.
Requirements
- PhD in Genetics, Molecular Biology, Bioengineering, or a closely related field.
- Extensive experience (8+ years) in genetic engineering, with a strong emphasis on gene editing technologies (e.g., CRISPR-Cas9).
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience managing research teams and projects.
- A strong publication record in high-impact journals and experience presenting at international conferences.
- Proficiency in bioinformatics tools and analysis of genomic data.
