Job Opportunity: Principal Scientist – Bioanalysis
Salary: Up to £65K

The Role
We’re seeking a Principal Scientist to act as a technical subject matter expert in bioanalytical studies.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead method development, validation, and transfer aligned with GCP, GLP, and GMP standards.
* Provide scientific oversight, including data interpretation and regulatory reporting.
* Act as a technical advisor for business development and client engagements.
* Represent the team at industry events and academic forums.
* Mentor and develop team members within Laboratory Services.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and maintain data integrity.
Qualifications
* Degree in relevant scientific discipline (advanced qualification desirable).
* Strong experience with LC-MS/MS in a regulated lab environment (GCP/GCLP, GLP, GMP).
* Proven expertise in bioanalytical method development, validation, and routine analysis.
* Knowledge of regulatory expectations and bioanalytical method validation principles.
* Track record managing scientific projects efficiently while meeting quality standards.
* Leadership and mentoring experience in a laboratory setting.
