About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly accomplished and visionary Principal Security Architect to lead their security design efforts within a fully remote setting. This senior role is responsible for defining the enterprise security architecture, ensuring that security is embedded in the design of all systems and platforms. You will provide technical leadership, mentor security architects and engineers, and drive innovation in security solutions to protect against sophisticated threats. Key Responsibilities

• Define and evolve the overall enterprise security architecture , ensuring it aligns with business strategy and risk appetite.
• Lead the design and development of secure solutions across various technology domains, including cloud, applications, and networks.
• Provide expert technical guidance and mentorship to security teams and development groups.
• Evaluate emerging security technologies and recommend their adoption where appropriate.
• Develop and maintain security reference architectures, standards, and patterns.
• Act as a key advisor on security matters to senior management and key stakeholders.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Security, or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in information security, with a significant focus on security architecture and design.
• Deep expertise in designing secure solutions for complex, large-scale environments, including cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Proven experience with security frameworks, threat modeling, and risk assessment methodologies.
• Strong understanding of cryptography, network security, application security, and identity management.
• Exceptional communication, leadership, and influencing skills, with the ability to drive consensus across diverse teams.
