Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of large-scale, complex software systems, ensuring architectural integrity, performance, and scalability.
- Set high technical standards and provide expert guidance to engineering teams, influencing technical direction across the organization.
- Tackle challenging technical problems, architecting innovative solutions and driving their successful implementation.
- Mentor and coach other engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence, knowledge sharing, and continuous learning.

Requirements
- Ph.D. or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent extensive experience.
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering , with a significant focus on system design and architecture.
- Deep expertise in one or more programming languages (e.g., C++, Java, Python) and a broad understanding of various technologies and platforms.
- Proven experience in designing and building highly available, distributed systems and working with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Exceptional problem-solving skills, strategic thinking, and strong communication abilities for this demanding role in Oxford .
