Principal Software Engineer – Join a growing SaaS scale-up

Remote working – once a month onsite in Manchester

Were currently partnered with a fast-growing UK based SaaS scale-up who operate in the B2B marketing space. They are now looking for an experienced Principal Software Engineer to join the team to remain hands-on and build customer-facing products.

As a hands-on technical role, youll be involved from the initial design stage through to full implementation and will be working on new projects within Node.js, TypeScript and Vue – they are open to engineers with experience in React, so long as youre happy to work with Vue on the frontend.

Youll be joining a growing team where youll be influential on the product and will deploy code daily following a DevSecOps approach to work within a product-driven environment to build new products for their customers needs.

What will you be doing:

• Work closely with stakeholders on solution design, scoping and architecture
• Deliver high-quality production code as an individual contributor whilst supporting the team to help build and scale new products
• Contribute to architectural and technical decision-making where youll be influential on the direction of the product
• Ensure quality, maintainability and operability of systems
• Support live products and troubleshoot production issues
