Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert technical leadership and oversight on significant structural engineering projects.
- Develop innovative and efficient structural designs for a variety of building types and infrastructure.
- Undertake complex structural analysis and calculations, ensuring compliance with all relevant codes and standards.
- Review and approve designs prepared by other engineers, providing constructive feedback and validation.
- Lead and mentor a team of structural engineers, fostering technical growth and high performance.
- Engage with clients and stakeholders to articulate design concepts and resolve complex technical issues.
Requirements
- Chartered Engineer (CEng) with significant post-chartered experience.
- A minimum of 12 years of experience in structural engineering design, with a proven track record on major projects.
- Expertise in advanced structural analysis techniques and software (e.g., ETABS, SAP2000, STAAD.Pro).
- Deep understanding of materials science (steel, concrete, timber) and their structural applications.
- Experience in managing project teams, budgets, and client relationships effectively.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly.
