Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and validation of key wind turbine components , including blades, drivetrains, and control systems.
- Conduct advanced performance analysis, identify areas for improvement, and implement design modifications to enhance efficiency and reliability.
- Oversee the technical aspects of turbine certification and type approval processes.
- Mentor and guide a team of wind turbine engineers, fostering technical expertise and innovation.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, operations, and project teams to ensure seamless integration of turbine designs into deployed wind farms.
Requirements
- MSc or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the design and development of wind turbines or complex rotating machinery.
- In-depth knowledge of aerodynamics, structural mechanics, and control systems relevant to wind energy.
- Experience with FEA analysis and CFD simulations for turbine components.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to manage complex engineering projects.
