We are representing a small, family-run company looking for a practical and reliable 3D Print Technician to join our growing team.
We are looking for someone with a genuine can-do attitude who is happy to get involved, solve problems and help wherever needed. As a small business, everyone plays an important part in keeping things running smoothly, so this role would suit someone who enjoys variety and takes pride in getting the job done properly.
The Role
Your day-to-day work will involve operating and maintaining our 3D printers, preparing print jobs, checking finished parts and helping to keep production running efficiently.
Responsibilities will include:
*
Setting up and operating 3D printers
*
Preparing files and print jobs for production
*
Loading and changing materials
*
Monitoring prints and resolving basic printing issues
*
Removing, cleaning and finishing printed components
*
Checking finished parts for quality
*
Carrying out routine printer cleaning and maintenance
*
Keeping the workshop and production area clean and organised
*
Packing and preparing completed orders where required
*
Helping with general production and workshop duties
*
Identifying problems and finding practical solutions
*
Supporting other members of the team when needed
About You
We are more interested in finding the right person with the right attitude than someone who ticks every box.
You should be:
*
Practical and hands-on
*
Reliable and punctual
*
Keen to learn
*
Comfortable working independently
*
Able to follow instructions and processes
*
Good at spotting and solving problems
*
Organised with good attention to detail
*
Happy to take responsibility for your work
*
Flexible and willing to help with different tasks
*
Someone who sees something that needs doing and gets on with it
Previous experience with 3D printing, manufacturing, engineering, CNC machines, production equipment or workshop environments would be useful, but training can be provided for the right person.
Experience with CAD, slicing software or maintaining 3D printers would also be an advantage, but is not essential.
What We Offer
You will be joining a friendly, family-run business where you will be treated as an important part of the team rather than just a number.
We offer:
*
A friendly and relaxed working environment
*
On-the-job training
*
Varied and interesting work
*
The opportunity to develop your 3D printing and manufacturing skills
*
A stable role within a growing small business
*
The chance to take on more responsibility as your experience develops
If you are practical, dependable and have a positive “let’s get it done” attitude, we would be pleased to hear from you.
Please apply with your CV and a short introduction telling us a little about yourself and why you think you would be a good fit for the role
