Our client is seeking a highly experienced and relationship-driven Private Banker to join their prestigious team in Plymouth . This hybrid role focuses on managing and growing relationships with high-net-worth individuals, providing bespoke banking, lending, and investment solutions. You will be a trusted advisor, understanding the complex financial needs of affluent clients and coordinating with specialists to deliver exceptional service. This position is integral to our client's high-net-worth strategy within the Banking & Finance sector, offering significant autonomy and reward.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage a portfolio of high-net-worth clients, building deep, trusted relationships.
- Understand clients' financial goals, risk tolerance, and liquidity needs to provide tailored solutions across banking, credit, and investment services.
- Originate new client relationships through networking, referrals, and proactive business development.
- Collaborate with investment specialists, lending officers, and wealth advisors to deliver comprehensive financial plans.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, internal policies, and risk management guidelines.
- Provide exceptional client service, acting as the primary point of contact for all client banking and financial needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field; advanced certifications (e.g., CFP, CFA) are highly desirable.
- Significant experience (7+ years) in private banking, wealth management, or a related client-facing financial services role.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and growing a portfolio of high-net-worth clients.
- Deep understanding of investment products, credit solutions, and wealth planning strategies.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills, with a sophisticated client-handling approach.
- Strong knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance standards in the financial services industry.
