Process & Commissioning Engineer | £29,000–£42,000 + Benefits | Surrey/Sussex Are you a Chemical Engineering graduate looking for a role that gives you real hands-on engineering experience? Or do you already have process engineering experience and want to work on projects from design through to commissioning?

The role

We are looking for a Process & Commissioning Engineer to join an established international engineering business specialising in thermal processing and mass transfer systems. You will work across the full project lifecycle, helping to design process systems, support technical development and commission equipment at customer sites around the world. International travel is part of the role, with around 5–10 weeks away each year, usually in 1–3 week periods. Full training will be provided, including visits to existing installations so you can build practical knowledge of the equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce process designs, including heat and mass balances.
• Support specifications, schedules, P&IDs and process flow diagrams.
• Assist with HAZOP reviews and ATEX compliance.
• Work with drying technologies including flash, ring, fluid bed, spray dryers and evaporators
• Support technical discussions with customers.
• Travel to customer sites to commission drying and cooling systems.
• Help troubleshoot process issues and improve system performance. About our company You will join a global engineering group employing around 750 people worldwide. • A degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent
• Strong technical and problem-solving skills
• An interest in process equipment and engineering design
• Confidence travelling internationally and working with customers
• Previous process, project or commissioning experience would be very useful, but recent graduates with a strong academic background are also encouraged to apply.
