About the Role
Our client, a prominent player in the advanced materials manufacturing sector, is seeking a dedicated Process Chemical Engineer to bolster their production capabilities in Birmingham . This role is central to ensuring the efficient, safe, and sustainable operation of our client's core manufacturing processes. You will be responsible for analyzing process data, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions that enhance product quality and operational output. Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze process performance metrics, identifying deviations and implementing corrective actions.
- Develop and execute plans for process optimization to increase efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Troubleshoot production issues, diagnosing root causes and proposing effective engineering solutions.
- Ensure adherence to all safety protocols , environmental regulations, and quality management systems.
- Collaborate with production teams to implement process changes and provide necessary training.
- Prepare technical reports detailing process performance, improvements, and project outcomes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in a process engineering or manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex process data and implement effective solutions.
- Knowledge of process control systems , instrumentation, and statistical process control (SPC).
- Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental regulations pertinent to chemical manufacturing.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to operational challenges.
