Process Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Develop process designs, flow diagrams, and P&IDs for new and existing chemical processes.
• Conduct process simulations and calculations for mass and energy balances, equipment sizing, and performance analysis.
• Specify process equipment and materials of construction.
• Perform process hazard analyses and contribute to safety reviews.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure designs meet project requirements and standards.
• Support the implementation and commissioning of designed processes.

Requirements

• Degree in Chemical Engineering .
• 3-5 years of experience in process design and engineering.
• Proficiency with process simulation software (e.g., Aspen Plus, HYSYS).
• Knowledge of chemical process equipment and unit operations.
• Understanding of process safety principles and hazard assessment techniques.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, adaptable to hybrid working.
