About the Role
Our client has an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Process Development Chemical Engineer to join their state-of-the-art facility in Coventry . This role focuses on researching, developing, and scaling up innovative chemical processes for new product lines. You will be instrumental in bridging the gap between laboratory-scale discovery and full-scale industrial production. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development of new chemical processes from concept through to pilot scale and beyond.
- Design and execute laboratory and pilot plant experiments to validate process parameters.
- Analyse experimental data, interpret results, and provide clear recommendations for process improvements.
- Collaborate with R&D, production, and engineering teams to ensure seamless technology transfer.
- Develop process documentation, including flow diagrams, equipment specifications, and operating procedures.
- Identify and evaluate new technologies to enhance process performance and sustainability.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering.
- Proven experience in process development, scale-up, and optimization.
- Hands-on experience with laboratory and pilot plant equipment.
- Strong data analysis and statistical process control skills.
- Familiarity with process safety principles and risk assessment techniques.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, particularly in a Coventry -based manufacturing setting.
