Key Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize chemical synthesis routes for new and existing products, focusing on yield, purity, and cost-effectiveness.
• Conduct laboratory experiments to evaluate reaction parameters, catalysts, and solvent systems.
• Scale up chemical processes from benchtop to pilot plant, troubleshooting any issues that arise.
• Collaborate closely with R&D chemists, engineers, and manufacturing teams to ensure smooth technology transfer.
• Implement and adhere to strict quality control and safety protocols throughout the development process.
• Analyze and interpret experimental data, preparing detailed reports and technical documentation.

Requirements

• Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field, with a focus on organic or physical chemistry.
• Proven experience in process chemistry, scale-up, or chemical process development.
• Familiarity with analytical techniques such as HPLC, GC, NMR, and MS.
• Strong understanding of reaction mechanisms and kinetics.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively in a team.
• Excellent report writing and presentation skills.
