About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Optimize existing chemical manufacturing processes to improve yield, reduce costs, and enhance safety and environmental performance.
• Design and execute experiments in laboratory and pilot plant settings to develop and validate new process technologies.
• Analyze experimental data, interpret results, and prepare comprehensive reports with recommendations.
• Collaborate with R&D chemists, analytical scientists, and manufacturing teams to ensure successful technology transfer.
• Troubleshoot process deviations and implement robust solutions to maintain production quality and efficiency.
• Stay abreast of new technologies and methodologies in chemical process development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience (3-5 years) in process development, scale-up, or optimization within the fine chemicals or pharmaceutical industries.
• Hands-on experience with laboratory equipment and pilot plant operations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in data analysis tools.
• Familiarity with process safety principles and hazard identification techniques.
