About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for new and existing pharmaceutical products, focusing on scalability, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
• Design and conduct laboratory-scale experiments to evaluate process parameters and identify critical control points.
• Utilize process modeling and simulation tools to predict process performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Develop process validation strategies and protocols, overseeing validation execution.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and implement corrective actions to improve process robustness and yield.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, manufacturing, quality assurance, and supply chain, in a remote setting.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in process development and scale-up, preferably within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
• Proven experience with process design, optimization, and validation methodologies.
• Familiarity with relevant manufacturing technologies and equipment used in pharmaceutical production.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a demonstrated ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
