Process Development Engineer

About the Role

Our client seeks a skilled Process Development Engineer to optimize and scale up pharmaceutical manufacturing processes in Glasgow . This hands-on role is central to ensuring the efficient, safe, and compliant production of vital medicines. You will work closely with manufacturing, quality assurance, and R&D teams to troubleshoot issues, implement process improvements, and support technology transfer activities. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and scale-up manufacturing processes for pharmaceutical products.
• Conduct process validation studies and troubleshoot manufacturing deviations.
• Implement new technologies and methodologies to improve efficiency and quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless technology transfer from development to commercial production.
• Ensure all process development activities comply with GMP and regulatory standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in process development within the pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical industry.
• Strong understanding of GMP, process validation, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with process modeling, simulation, and statistical analysis.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong communication skills for a manufacturing environment .
