Key Responsibilities
- Research, design, and test new manufacturing processes and technologies.
- Develop and document detailed process specifications, operating procedures, and validation protocols.
- Conduct pilot runs and scale-up studies for new or improved manufacturing methods.
- Analyze process performance data, identifying areas for optimization and cost reduction.
- Collaborate with R&D, engineering, and production teams to ensure successful process implementation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues encountered during process development and implementation.
Requirements
- Degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
- Proven experience in process development, optimization, or scale-up within a manufacturing context.
- Strong understanding of chemical or physical process principles and their application in industrial settings.
- Experience with process simulation software and statistical analysis tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in both collaborative and independent settings in Sunderland .
