Key Responsibilities
- Develop and optimise chemical manufacturing processes to increase throughput and reduce waste.
- Conduct pilot plant trials and scale-up studies for new chemical products and process modifications.
- Analyse process data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Collaborate with the engineering and operations teams to ensure smooth technology transfer and implementation.
- Prepare detailed reports and present findings to stakeholders.
Requirements
- Degree in Chemical Engineering or a related science discipline.
- Proven experience in process development or optimisation within a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with process control systems and instrumentation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with statistical analysis and experimental design (DoE).
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
