Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute experiments to optimize chemical reaction pathways and separation techniques.
- Develop robust and scalable manufacturing processes for new chemical products, from bench scale to pilot plant.
- Analyze experimental data, interpret results, and generate comprehensive reports with clear recommendations.
- Collaborate closely with Research & Development chemists and engineers to ensure smooth technology transfer.
- Troubleshoot and resolve process issues encountered during scale-up and commercial production phases.
- Contribute to process safety reviews and ensure all development activities adhere to strict safety and environmental standards.
Requirements
- A degree in Chemical Engineering , Chemistry, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in process development, scale-up, or optimization within a chemical manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with laboratory equipment, pilot plant operations, and process analytical technologies (PAT).
- Strong understanding of chemical kinetics, thermodynamics, and separation science.
- Excellent data analysis skills using statistical methods and software (e.g., Minitab).
- Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate findings clearly to diverse audiences.
