Our client is seeking a proactive Process Development Engineer to join their dynamic team in Coventry, West Midlands . Key Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize chemical manufacturing processes for new and existing products.
- Conduct pilot plant trials, collect and analyze data, and scale-up processes effectively.
- Troubleshoot process deviations and implement corrective actions to ensure product quality and consistency.
- Collaborate with R&D, Quality Assurance, and Production teams to ensure smooth technology transfer.
- Author comprehensive process development reports and technical documentation.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and waste minimization.
Requirements
- Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent relevant science discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in process development or scale-up within the chemical or pharmaceutical industry.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis and Design of Experiments (DoE).
- Experience with process safety management (PSM) principles.
- Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) if applicable.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
