Process Development Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive Process Development Engineer to join their innovative team in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire . This role is critical for advancing the company's product pipeline through the development and optimization of chemical manufacturing processes. You will be involved in bench-scale experimentation, pilot plant trials, and the successful scale-up of processes to commercial production. Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute laboratory experiments to develop and optimize chemical processes.
• Analyze experimental data and generate comprehensive reports with recommendations.
• Develop and validate process models for scale-up and commercialization.
• Troubleshoot and resolve process-related issues during pilot and production phases.
• Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, and engineering teams to ensure smooth technology transfer.
• Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards throughout process development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering .
• At least 6 years of experience in process development or chemical process engineering.
• Hands-on experience with laboratory equipment and pilot plant operations.
• Proficiency in process modeling and simulation software.
• Strong understanding of statistical analysis and Design of Experiments (DoE).
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, suitable for a hybrid work environment.
