About the Role
Our client, a prominent pharmaceutical company, is seeking an innovative Process Development Scientist to enhance and optimize their manufacturing processes in Reading . This role is essential for ensuring the efficient, scalable, and cost-effective production of high-quality pharmaceutical products. You will be involved in troubleshooting existing processes, developing new manufacturing methods, and ensuring robust process validation. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, optimize, and scale-up chemical or biological processes for pharmaceutical manufacturing.
- Conduct laboratory experiments to evaluate process parameters and identify critical quality attributes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues encountered during process development and scale-up.
- Write detailed process descriptions, development reports, and validation protocols.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and quality assurance teams to ensure smooth technology transfer.
- Ensure all process development activities comply with GMP and relevant regulatory guidelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in process development within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
- Hands-on experience with process scale-up, optimization, and validation.
- Strong understanding of GMP principles and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in analytical techniques for process monitoring and characterization.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and technical writing skills.
