Process Engineer - Manufacturing

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and optimize manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality.
• Develop and implement new production methods and technologies to meet evolving business needs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise during the manufacturing process, collaborating with maintenance and operations teams.
• Design and conduct experiments to validate process changes and improvements.
• Create and maintain detailed process documentation, including SOPs, flow charts, and specifications.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations in the Newcastle upon Tyne facility.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Chemical, or related field).
• Proven experience as a Process Engineer or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of process improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Proficiency in CAD software and process simulation tools is a plus.
• Ability to effectively communicate technical information to diverse audiences.
