About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Optimize mineral processing and metallurgical plant operations to improve recovery rates and reduce costs.
• Design, evaluate, and implement new processing technologies and methodologies.
• Conduct pilot plant trials and scale-up studies for new processes.
• Troubleshoot operational problems and develop solutions to enhance plant efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant environmental, health, and safety regulations.

Requirements

• Degree in Chemical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience as a Process Engineer in the mining and metals industry .
• Strong understanding of mineral processing techniques (e.g., comminution, flotation, leaching, smelting).
• Proficiency in process simulation software (e.g., Aspen Plus, HYSYS).
• Experience with metallurgical testing and analysis.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
