Process Engineer - Remote

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly analytical and innovative Process Engineer to join their team, operating in a fully remote capacity. You will be instrumental in optimizing manufacturing processes, improving efficiency, and reducing costs across various production lines, regardless of physical location. This role requires a deep understanding of engineering principles, data analysis, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Key Responsibilities

• Analyze existing manufacturing processes to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement in efficiency and cost reduction.
• Design, develop, and implement new or modified manufacturing processes and workflows.
• Utilize data analysis and simulation tools to model process performance and predict outcomes.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, including SOPs, flowcharts, and P&IDs.
• Collaborate with R&D, production, and quality assurance teams to ensure seamless process integration and validation.
• Provide remote technical support and guidance to on-site operations teams to resolve process-related issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical) or a related field.
• Proven experience in process engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
• Proficiency in process simulation software and statistical analysis tools.
• Excellent remote communication and collaboration skills, using digital platforms effectively.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
