About the Role
Our client is seeking a skilled and analytical Process Engineer to join their dynamic team in Milton Keynes . This role is essential for optimizing manufacturing processes, improving efficiency, and ensuring product consistency. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and troubleshooting production processes, working closely with engineering and production teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of chemical, mechanical, or industrial engineering principles and a passion for driving operational excellence in a demanding manufacturing setting located in Milton Keynes .
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze existing manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, cost, and quality.
- Design, develop, and implement new production processes and technologies.
- Conduct process validation and troubleshooting to resolve operational issues.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and flow charts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new processes and technologies into production.
- Monitor process performance data and implement necessary adjustments to ensure optimal output and product consistency.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a process engineering role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of process simulation, statistical analysis, and Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
- Proficiency in process design software and data analysis tools.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
