Process Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking an innovative and detail-oriented Process Engineer to join their manufacturing operations in Southampton . You will be involved in analysing existing workflows, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing engineering solutions. Key Responsibilities

• Analyse current production processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
• Design, develop, and implement new or modified manufacturing processes to enhance productivity and product quality.
• Conduct trials and experiments to test new process parameters and validate changes.
• Develop and maintain detailed process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and flowcharts.
• Collaborate with the R&D and production teams to ensure smooth implementation of new processes and technologies.
• Troubleshoot process-related issues and provide technical support to the production team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial).
• Proven experience as a Process Engineer or in a similar manufacturing engineering role.
• Strong knowledge of process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
• Familiarity with process simulation software and data analysis tools.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in both a hybrid and hands-on manufacturing environment.
