Process Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly analytical and innovative Process Engineer to enhance manufacturing operations in Leeds . This role focuses on optimizing existing production processes and developing new ones to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and increase product quality. You will work cross-functionally with engineering, production, and R&D teams to implement process improvements and troubleshoot complex manufacturing challenges. Key Responsibilities

• Analyze current manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, cost, and quality.
• Design, develop, and implement new production processes and technologies.
• Conduct trials and experiments to validate process changes and improvements.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and flowcharts.
• Troubleshoot and resolve process-related issues that arise during production.
• Collaborate with equipment suppliers and internal teams on process-related projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience as a Process Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of process simulation software and statistical analysis tools.
• Experience with process optimization techniques such as Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with various teams.
