About the Role
Our client is seeking a skilled Process Engineer to enhance their manufacturing operations in Leeds . This role focuses on analyzing, designing, and optimizing production processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and maintain the highest quality standards. You will play a key part in troubleshooting operational issues, implementing new technologies, and driving continuous improvement across the plant. Key Responsibilities
- Analyze existing manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, quality, and safety.
- Design and implement new processes and production methods, including the evaluation and selection of new equipment.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and work instructions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve process-related issues, working closely with production and maintenance teams.
- Conduct feasibility studies and pilot tests for process changes and new technologies.
- Monitor key process performance indicators (KPIs) and implement data-driven solutions.
Requirements
- Degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Process Engineer in a manufacturing setting.
- Strong understanding of process simulation, optimization techniques, and statistical process control (SPC).
- Experience with process design, P&IDs, and HAZOP studies.
- Proficiency in relevant software such as AutoCAD, simulation tools, and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
