Process Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled and innovative Process Engineer to optimize and improve manufacturing processes at their facility in Cardiff . You will play a key role in analysing existing production methods, identifying areas for enhancement, and implementing new technologies and strategies to boost efficiency, reduce costs, and maintain superior product quality. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, analytical thinking, and strong problem-solving abilities to drive continuous improvement initiatives within the heart of Wales 's industrial sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse current manufacturing processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
• Design, develop, and implement new processes and technologies to enhance productivity and quality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to production processes.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Conduct feasibility studies and pilot tests for new process implementations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, production, and quality assurance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial) or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Process Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of process optimisation techniques and methodologies.
• Proficiency in process simulation software and data analysis tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid remote/on-site capacity, collaborating with teams in Cardiff .
