Process Engineer

About the Role

Our client seeks an innovative and analytical Process Engineer to join their manufacturing team in Belfast . This role is critical in optimizing and improving the efficiency of manufacturing processes. You will be responsible for analyzing existing production methods, identifying areas for enhancement, and implementing new technologies or methodologies to boost productivity, reduce costs, and improve product quality. Key Responsibilities

• Analyze current manufacturing processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
• Design, develop, and implement new production processes and technologies.
• Conduct process capability studies and statistical analysis to ensure process stability and control.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with R&D and design teams to ensure manufacturability of new products.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, or related field).
• Proven experience as a Process Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of process optimization techniques and statistical process control (SPC).
• Experience with CAD software and simulation tools is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
