Process Improvement Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and results-oriented Process Improvement Engineer to contribute to their manufacturing operations in Coventry, West Midlands . Key Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities for process optimization through data analysis, Gemba walks, and stakeholder engagement.
• Develop and implement lean manufacturing strategies, including value stream mapping and Kaizen events.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on the effectiveness of implemented improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive change and ensure successful adoption of new processes.
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions on process improvement tools and methodologies.
• Contribute to the development of business cases for capital investments related to process upgrades.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• At least 4 years of experience in a similar process improvement or industrial engineering role.
• Demonstrated expertise in lean manufacturing principles and tools.
• Experience with statistical analysis and data visualization software.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
