Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Process Improvement Engineer to join their established operations in Coventry, West Midlands, UK . Key Responsibilities
- Identify opportunities for process optimization through detailed analysis and observation of manufacturing and operational workflows.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles, including 5S, value stream mapping, and Kaizen events.
- Develop and document new standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
- Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to process efficiency and quality.
- Facilitate cross-departmental workshops to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Conduct root cause analysis for production issues and implement corrective actions.
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
- At least 3 years of experience in a process engineering or continuous improvement role.
- Solid understanding of lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage with all levels of the organization.
- Experience with data analysis and reporting tools.
